Ugh, figure it out…

I am tired. Tired of the election, the hate, blue states vs red states, no help with Corona, people out of work with no help to keep them afloat, people are hungry in America in 2020, the partisan vitriol is coming from both parties and we are more divided now than ever. Compromise is very […]

It has been a long year…

Everyone knows 2020 has been colossal shit show. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, bam, something else blindsides you. Covid, protests, racial turmoil, crazy weather, people hating others, there has been nothing good to say about this year. I began a new job in January that I was really excited about. I worked […]

Auto Immune Diseases

So I just want to write this column about a subject I wish I didn’t know about but sadly I do, auto immune disease. I had no clue about this subject but life always seems to throw a curveball when you least expect it. I have felt like shit for months and I had no […]

New York, New York!!!

New York is the only real city-city.– Truman Capote Is it still 2020? Check. Does life still suck? Check. Is there unrest and unhappiness throughout the United Stares and probably the world? Check. Do I miss my parents like crazy? Check. Do I miss shopping or browsing in a store? Triple check. Having dinner out […]

Reality sets in…

I reread my first Corona post I made on April 20th. Ah, how hopeful, naive and optimistic I sounded! This is a virus but we will fight it and win! This is America, surely science, our “moral” compass, our fearless leaders will prevail! People will pull together and look out for each other! Politics, nationality, […]

The Corona…

I am not one to freak out easily. When I first heard about Covid-19 i was like, what’s the big deal? However, being older and wiser, I started to slowly freak out. I am a lifelong smoker and after my last 2 surgeries my blood oxygen level was so low I had to get oxygen […]

The Rollercoaster of Life…

“This is your life and it’s ending one minute at a time.” Tyler Durden-Fight Club Life is all about routine. You get into a groove and just end up on autopilot: sleep, wake up, drive to work, work, drive home, pet the dog, make/eat dinner, watch the same shows you always watch, go to bed […]

Le Cirque des Reves…

So you may wonder why I am writing a blog about a book that came out in 2011? The Night Circus is one of my favorite books that I have reread many times and the author, Erin Morgenstern, has a new book that came out last Tuesday called The Starless Sea. I have waited eight […]

The Unhappiness….

It exists. My darkest moments, the deep, piercing feeling of nothingness. I feel it in my very soul, my being, my over-dramatic emotions. I am not original, many people feel this. Yet I feel utterly alone in my false world. It is hard to find a way out but I must or go insane. This […]

Best Friends Forever???

“It’s crazy how you can go months or years without talking to someone but they still cross your mind everyday.” I am not the easiest person to love, or like, for that matter. I have made so many mistakes, done things thoughtlessly, been selfish and self-obsessed, hurt others with little thought and lost my temper, […]
